About Imlay City Rotary
The Imlay City Rotary Club is made up of people who live, work, and raise families right here in Lapeer County and the surrounding communities of Almont, Capac, Lapeer, Brown City, and beyond.
Over 75 Years of Service
Since 1950, the Imlay City Rotary Club has been a cornerstone of community service in our area. What started as a small group of neighbors who wanted to give back has grown into a vibrant club of over 30 members.
We meet every Wednesday at noon at the Third & Main Social Club on 3rd Street in Imlay City. The first and second weeks of each month feature guest speakers from the community. The third week is our business meeting, and the fourth week is social.
We welcome members from Imlay City, Almont, Capac, Lapeer, Brown City, North Branch, Romeo, Armada, Yale, Dryden, Attica, and anywhere else in the area. If you care about our community, there's a seat for you.
What We Stand For
Service Above Self
From serving meals to building playgrounds, we show up when our community needs us most. Every project starts with one question: how can we help?
Real Friendships
Wednesday lunches aren't just meetings — they're where lasting friendships form over shared purpose and good food.
Investing in Youth
Scholarships, mentorship, and programs that help young people in Imlay City, Almont, Capac, and beyond build a bright future.
The Four-Way Test
Created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor, The Four-Way Test asks four simple questions of the things we think, say, or do. It has guided Rotarians worldwide ever since.
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Part of Something Bigger
The Imlay City Rotary Club is part of Rotary International — a global network of 1.4 million members in over 46,000 clubs worldwide. We belong to District 6330 and work alongside clubs across Michigan and beyond to tackle big challenges while making a difference right here at home.
