Fundraising Events

Throughout the year, our Club manages several fundraisers. Our goal is to give back to the community. These events, enable us to donate over $20,000 a year to local and global projects and initiatives.

Lavender Daze

July 19-21 2024

Woods N Water Outdoor Weekend

September 6-8, 2024

Oktoberfest

October 16, 2024

Our third annual Oktoberfest, co-hosted by the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds, is a true celebration of German heritage including live music, authentic German dance performances, and of course, BEER!

Giving Back to the Community

The Imlay City Rotary Club donates to a multitude of non-profit organizations, projects, and initiatives. Annually, our Club donates over $20,000 to local and global projects. This is in addition to countless volunteer hours at local food pantries, community events, and school activities. If you want to be part of an active, community-minded club, this is it! Scholarships

The Imlay City Rotary Club annual offers $2000 in scholarships to Imlay City students.

Foster Care Day at the Fair

Rotary Park

In 2016, our Club renovated Rotary Park found on First Street in downtown Imlay City. Our Club spreads mulch, rakes leaves, and organizes a general cleaning every spring. Find out more at

March is Reading Month

Members of the Imlay City Rotary Club enjoy going into the local elementary schools and reading to youngsters during the month of March. What we like even more? Donating a book to each student so the love of reading can continue at home!

Donate to Non-Profits

Annually, the Club donates over $10,000 to local non-profits like LACADA, Family Literacy Center, United Hospice Service, and food banks.

Supports Local Events

You will find Rotarians volunteering at local events and also supporting activities at festivals and other gatherings. For example, the Club sponsored the roller rink so all community members could skate for free during the 2023 Imlay City Summer Fest.

Non-Profit Housing

For nearly 3 decades, the Imlay City Rotary Club has owned, managed, and operated a non-profit housing unit in an Imlay City neighborhood. The apartments offer reduced rents to those in need.

Global Initiatives
